Job Description
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking an AI Solutions Consultant who will implement micro-solutions using existing enterprise tools and platforms or Microsoft Copilot M365, evaluate business needs, and lead the design, planning, and delivery of approved AI opportunities. They will translate complex business challenges into practical AI opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes in support of improved operational effectiveness and enterprise-wide AI adoption. They will work closely with Business Branch Leadership, IMT Leadership, and IMT Program Managers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and organizational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Branch Leadership, IMT Leadership, and IMT Program Managers to identify business challenges and opportunities for enterprise-wide AI solutions and AI-enabled micro-solutions.
- Manage AI opportunities’ backlogs, priorities, and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely delivery of business value.
- Assess and prioritize AI use cases based on strategic alignment, feasibility, business value, risk, and organizational readiness.
- Develop business cases for prioritized AI initiatives including expected business outcomes, benefits, costs, risks, return on investment, success measures and expected value realization.
- Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of AI-based micro-solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Define scope, objectives, requirements, success criteria, and delivery plans.
- Assess feasibility, risks, benefits, costs, and implementation considerations.
- Measure performance against defined success metrics and recommend the next steps for optimization and scaling, including integration with enterprise solutions.
- Conduct AI readiness assessments, including data quality, governance, and organizational preparedness.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend AI technologies, products, and platforms that align with business requirements.
- Implement / apply best practices, standards, and procedures, including quality and delivery methodologies.
- Document and provide knowledge transfer sessions to the sustainment team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in solutions delivery, consulting, business analysis, product management, digital transformation, or technology strategy roles.
- Experience identifying, assessing, and implementing technology solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Knowledge of AI solution evaluation, implementation considerations, and value realization approaches.
- Knowledge of AI technologies, including AI agents and agentic workflows, AI assistants (e.g., Microsoft Copilot), generative AI, machine learning concepts, intelligent automation and workflows, large language models (LLMS), and prompt engineering.
- Understanding of enterprise AI platforms and services such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and other cloud-based AI platforms.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, privacy, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Knowledge of business process improvement, service design, and digital transformation practices.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management and influence cross-functional stakeholder groups, including executive leadership, business units, and technology teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working under pressure and able to manage simultaneous priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated superior research, analytical, problem solving, and good judgment skills.
- Ability to learn and apply new technical and business concepts.
- Experience within the public sector, housing sector, regulated industries, or complex enterprise environments is considered an asset
