On behalf of our Healthcare Client, Affinity is seeking a Project Manager who has led the technology side of an office relocation, consolidation, new build, or fit-out end to end, including move weekend and stabilization afterward. Strong governance habits: RAID logs, integrated schedules, readiness matrices, go/no-go gates. Has managed multiple vendors, including SOWs, tracking deliverables, validating invoices, and change control.
What You’ll Do
- Review the current state of the IT workstream and build an integrated schedule aligned to construction and occupancy milestones
- Set up and run project controls: risk, issue, action, decision, and dependency logs
- Produce weekly status reports and executive dashboards, and escalate decisions when needed
- Coordinate readiness for network infrastructure, telecom, AV and meeting rooms, printing, and end-user computing
- Define readiness criteria and acceptance evidence, and make go/no-go recommendations at key gates
- Manage vendor deliverables, statements of work, schedules, and outstanding actions, and support procurement as needed
- Plan and lead the technology move, cutover, day-one support, hypercare, and transition to operational support teams
- Support stakeholder communication and training, using a culturally safe, respectful, and collaborative approach
What You Bring
- 7+ years of IT project management experience
- Has led the technology workstream for at least one office relocation, consolidation, new build, or fit-out, through occupancy and stabilization
- Hands-on coordination across network, telecom, AV, printing, and end-user device deployment
- Strong vendor management, including SOW tracking, invoice validation, budget tracking, and change control
- Experience building cutover plans, readiness assessments, and hypercare plans
- Clear written communication, with a track record of reporting to senior leaders
- Able to work hybrid in downtown Vancouver and travel regularly to the project site
Nice to Have
