Job Description

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Project for a 24 month contract.

Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale HR Digital Transformation Program.

The program is a major enterprise transformation moving from a legacy HRMS environment to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. The work will involve business process transformation, data migration/conversion, integration replacement, organizational change management and implementation of the new HR technology landscape.

The PM will manage one or more delivery streams and work closely with senior business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and project resources.

Top 3 Skills

Senior Technology Project Management – 6+ years managing full-cycle technology projects from planning and requirements through implementation, testing, training and cutover.
HRMS / ERP / SaaS Transformation – Experience leading large-scale HR technology or enterprise system implementations. Oracle HCM, Workday or SAP SuccessFactors experience is highly relevant.
Complex Stakeholder & Vendor Management – Strong experience managing executive stakeholders, steering committees, system integrators, multiple vendors and complex/matrixed teams.

What We're Looking For

6+ years of full-cycle technology Project Management experience.
Ideally 10+ years working on complex IT / HR technology projects.
Experience leading digital transformation and enterprise system implementations.
Strong experience with data migration/conversion, integrations and system replacement.
Experience with cloud/SaaS implementations.
Comfortable working with both business and technical teams.
Strong executive communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, contracts and multiple suppliers.
Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and working within formal PMO methodologies.
HR business process / HR transformation experience is highly desirable.
Public sector, unionized or large complex organizational experience is an asset.
PMP is a plus, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Lead assigned HR Digital Transformation projects/workstreams through the full project lifecycle.
Develop business cases, project plans, schedules, budgets and governance materials.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and resources.
Lead internal and external project resources, including BAs, SMEs, Data Analysts, Systems Analysts, Developers, Architects and QA.
Work with senior stakeholders and steering committees to drive decisions and consensus.
Manage system integrators, suppliers and other vendors.
Oversee technical delivery including design, build, testing, deployment and change management.
Prepare executive-level status reporting and project documentation.
Ensure project delivery follows the organization's established PM methodology.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a true senior enterprise PM, not a project coordinator or administrator.

The strongest candidates will have managed large, complex technology transformations involving multiple business groups, technical teams and vendors, ideally in HR technology or ERP environments.

Oracle HCM experience is preferred, but candidates with strong Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HRMS/ERP transformation experience should also be considered.
