Review and make comments to shop drawings from equipment Vendors.
Approve and P.Eng seal electrical drawings for candidates under supervision.

Études du système électrique, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter : Transit de puissance, court-circuit, réglages et coordination des relais, arc électrique, harmoniques, analyses et réglages du réseau de terre et du démarrage des moteurs, etc.
Examiner et créer des simulations de systèmes électriques, des rapports et des études, des recommandations.
Posséder une très bonne connaissance et développer des schémas unifilaires, des schémas de mesure et de protection, des câblages électriques souterrains et en surface, des plans et des détails de mise à la terre, des agencements de MCC MT et BT, des schémas de câblage, des agencements de panneaux de contrôle et d'annonciation, des schémas d'alimentation et de contrôle des moteurs, des listes de terminaison, des schémas de câblage d'interconnexion, des systèmes UPS et de secours.
Déterminer les ampérages des câbles d'alimentation moyenne et basse tension en fonction des facteurs de déclassement et des calculs de chute de tension.
Rédiger les spécifications de l'équipement de distribution d'énergie, effectuer l'analyse des offres des fournisseurs d'équipement électrique et rédiger des recommandations.

Membre en règle de l'Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. L'adhésion à d'autres associations professionnelles d'ingénieurs serait un atout.
