  • Assist with Major Gifts and Patrons gift processing and related financial tracking/reporting for funds, activities, and campaigns.
  • Support scheduling and logistics of prospect and donor visits as well as stewardship tours and recognition events.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents for team members’ review.
  • Assemble and analyze data to prepare reports, proposals, and targeted correspondence.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a timely manner, meet deadlines, and manage supplemental material required to complete projects.
  • Maintain a high degree of motivation and tact consistent with the culture of the Development team and participate actively as a member of the team.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Periodic Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution of supporter events.
  • Send invitations, monitor, and respond to RSVPs.
  • Back up for Friends or Annual gift processing and customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A University degree or college diploma in fundraising or communications; suitable combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of development experience in a work environment of similar scope. Preference will be given to individuals with previous fundraising experience.
  • Exceptional planning, organization, project management, prioritization, and time-management skills to manage multiple on-going projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience working with Senior Executives, Volunteers, Board and Committee members.
  • Demonstrated experience and comfort in communicating and connecting with external stakeholders and donors.
  • Experience with CRM moves management software an asset; Tessitura experience will be advantageous.
