Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (ASTM, CSA, etc.), regulatory requirements, and internal quality protocols.
Liaise with project managers and clients to understand testing objectives and reporting requirements.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineering staff and laboratory technicians.
Maintain active APEGA registration and ensure all engineering activities comply with APEGA's professional and ethical standards.

What You Bring To The Table

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
Mandatory: Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
Membership with APEGA in good standing is strongly preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical laboratory testing and analysis.
Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, geotechnical testing methods, and applicable engineering standards.
Excellent technical analysis, interpretation, and reporting skills.
Familiarity with geotechnical laboratory software and quality control systems.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to exercise independent professional judgment.
