About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack AI Developer with expertise in Python and Angular or React to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI and software engineering, contributing to transformative projects that enhance our operational efficiency and customer experience. As part of our growing team, you will play a critical role in integrating AI solutions into our existing insurance systems and driving technological advancements.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining AI-driven applications that improve business processes. Your work will involve integrating AI models and data pipelines, ensuring scalable and reliable deployment, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, IT, and operations. You will also lead the technical aspects of projects, mentor junior team members, and influence the technical roadmap to align with strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing APIs and services using FastAPI, managing data pipelines, and developing intuitive front-end interfaces. You will leverage CI/CD tools and agile methodologies to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of features. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of six years of relevant development experience. Proficiency in Python for backend development and expertise in front-end frameworks such as Angular or React are essential. Experience with FastAPI, SQL, and AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Kiro is required.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, including services like S3, Snowflake, and BigQuery, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), observability practices, and CI/CD pipelines is highly valued. Strong data engineering skills, familiarity with Databricks technologies, and understanding of GenAI building blocks and MLOps practices are considered assets.
Excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to simplify complex concepts are critical. Bilingualism in French and English is required for candidates based in Quebec due to collaborative needs. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada; prior Canadian work experience is not mandatory.
