About The Role
The Data Scientist - Level 5 at McKesson is a strategic leadership position responsible for advancing the company's data science capabilities. Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of advanced predictive analytics and machine learning models to solve complex enterprise challenges.
Oversee the integration, cleaning, and preparation of large datasets, architect specialized databases, and manage computing environments optimized for data science initiatives.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to data science team members, ensuring adherence to best practices in modeling, automation, and visualization techniques.
Create and deliver compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical reports to executive leadership, IT, and business units to facilitate informed decision-making.
Collaborate closely with engineering and service teams to ensure data science solutions are aligned with business needs and operational requirements.
Communicate complex predictions and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, recommending strategic adjustments to processes and policies based on data insights.
