About The Role
We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join the Qualcomm AI Processor Solutions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing next-generation AI applications tailored for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms. Your work will involve designing, researching, and optimizing advanced machine learning algorithms that enhance the capabilities of mobile, edge, XR, and IoT devices. You will contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions spanning computer vision, multimodal AI, and agentic AI systems, ensuring they meet high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and real-world performance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machine learning algorithms, computer vision, multimodal AI, or related fields. Proficiency with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for innovation and building efficient AI solutions tailored for edge devices. Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++ are required, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a cross-functional environment. Responsibilities
- Stay current with the latest advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and foundation models, and incorporate these insights into ongoing projects.
- Research, develop, and optimize AI algorithms specifically designed for deployment on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms, ensuring they meet performance and efficiency standards.
- Design and build innovative reference applications that showcase Snapdragon AI capabilities across various devices including mobile, edge, XR, and IoT platforms.
- Evaluate hardware and software trade-offs to achieve optimal performance, power efficiency, and enhanced user experience in AI applications.
- Support the implementation, testing, and commercialization of AI algorithms and applications on Snapdragon devices, collaborating with hardware teams and software developers to ensure seamless integration.
