Key responsibilities include administering payroll deductions, calculating wages, and ensuring accurate data entry. The role involves providing administrative support to the Payroll Manager and payroll team, assisting with the coordination of payroll activities, and responding promptly to employee payroll-related inquiries. The technician will participate in year-end activities such as preparing T4 slips, T2200 forms, and other relevant documentation. They will generate payroll reports and maintain meticulous records to support audit and compliance requirements. Additional duties include assisting with payroll reconciliations, ensuring adherence to legal and contractual obligations, and performing any other related tasks as required by organizational needs.
