The Project Manager will establish project standards, mentor fellow project managers, and ensure that project outcomes align with business objectives, delivering tangible value and maintaining our competitive edge in the industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned project management professionals with a background in the advanced technology sector to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking organization.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience managing hardware-based New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, demonstrating leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Proven expertise in launching complex electromechanical systems within fast-paced manufacturing environments is essential. Candidates should have advanced stakeholder management skills, with a track record of effective resource negotiation and cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, ClickUp, and data visualization platforms is required, along with experience in PLM (e.g., Arena), ERP (e.g., NetSuite), and KPI tracking. Experience mentoring other project managers and influencing project governance to improve process maturity is highly valued. Knowledge of software and firmware development coordination, including familiarity with GitHub and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), will be considered an asset. Certification such as PMP or an equivalent qualification is strongly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to define, plan, and execute complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, complex New Product Introduction (NPI) and strategic improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering technical innovation.
- Define project scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, and resource plans with minimal supervision, promoting cross-functional accountability across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain teams.
- Anticipate potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution, maintaining quality and schedule adherence.
- Mentor and support other Project Managers by sharing best practices, risk management techniques, and effective communication strategies.
- Utilize advanced project management tools and dashboards to monitor project performance, KPIs, and progress, driving continuous improvement.
