About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Application Engineer to support, win, and grow our sales with a leading connectivity solutions provider. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary technical interface between Intel, our customers, and internal cross-functional teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with sales, product management, engineering, and operations teams to understand customer requirements, evaluate technical specifications, and recommend optimal product solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mobile and network infrastructure solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact by driving design wins and fostering long-term customer relationships in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A Master’s or PhD degree is considered a plus. Candidates should have between 5 to 10 years of experience supporting customers in sales engineering, application engineering, or technical sales roles, particularly within the telecommunications or networking industry. Deep technical knowledge of telecom segments such as RAN, cloud RAN, fixed and optical networks, IP routing, and implementation using CPUs, ASICs, GPUs, custom silicon, ASSPs, and AI solutions is essential. Familiarity with Intel’s data center, client, and edge products, along with a proven track record of driving design wins or qualifications at OEMs, is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, effective time management, and the ability to interpret technical specifications are critical. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English are required to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Candidates must be proactive, capable of managing multiple initiatives, and work well independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical support resource for Intel's sales accounts, providing expert guidance throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop customized technical solutions tailored to their requirements.
Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and detailed customer proposals.
Evaluate customer specifications and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their needs.
Coordinate with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful project execution.
Support RFQs, quotations, technical documentation, and product selection activities to facilitate sales closure.
Actively pursue and support design wins and product qualifications at OEMs and key customers.
Manage technical discussions with customer engineering teams, providing timely and accurate responses to technical inquiries.
Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and project planning sessions to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products relevant to customer business to provide strategic insights.
Support new product introductions and facilitate customer qualification processes for new solutions.
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by providing ongoing technical support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Travel to customer locations and internal meetings as required to support sales and technical initiatives.
