About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with key business leaders to develop and deliver insightful data reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support operational excellence and strategic decision-making. Your expertise will enable leadership to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks through comprehensive data analysis. The Senior Data Analyst will be instrumental in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing reporting processes across the organization. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience. A minimum of five years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics - preferably within the healthcare industry - is required. Proven expertise in developing high-quality dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI is essential. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling, is necessary. Strong skills in SQL for querying and managing data sources, along with experience in Python or R for statistical analysis and automation, are also required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating complex data into clear insights. Exceptional communication skills are vital for engaging stakeholders, presenting findings, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake, and experience with AlayaCare Data Exploration, AI technologies, or healthcare environments are preferred.
Responsibilities
Data Collection & Analysis
- Lead the collection, validation, and organization of data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure comprehensive and reliable datasets.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, gaps, and opportunities across various business and clinical operations.
- Interpret data findings and translate them into actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and operational improvements for leadership and teams.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, quality, completeness, and consistency across all reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs.
- Support advanced and ad hoc analyses to address organizational priorities, operational questions, and performance enhancement initiatives.
Reporting & Visualization
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and recurring reports utilizing tools such as Power BI, Excel, and other visualization platforms.
- Extract, clean, transform, and analyze data using SQL, Python, and R to support reporting and decision-making processes.
- Create and implement reporting solutions with tools like AlayaCare Data Exploration to facilitate insightful analysis.
- Develop AI-enabled tools to automate reporting tasks, identify trends, and summarize data for strategic insights.
- Review and improve existing reporting tools to enhance usability, accuracy, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Provide guidance on reporting methodologies, data interpretation, and appropriate use of performance metrics.
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Assess current workflows, reporting processes, and data practices to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
- Lead or support initiatives aimed at automating processes, improving data collection, and enhancing reporting efficiency.
- Apply user-centered design principles to improve access to data, usability of reports, and analytical insights.
- Recommend practical solutions to streamline reporting workflows, reduce manual efforts, and ensure consistency across analytics products.
- Develop standardized processes, templates, and documentation to promote sustainable reporting practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with operational and shared services teams to understand their data needs and define clear reporting requirements.
- Work closely with regional directors and business units to translate operational questions into analytical approaches and deliver tailored reports.
- Communicate complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and discussions.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to validate requirements, explain methodologies, and support data-driven decisions.
- Promote the organization-wide adoption and effective use of dashboards and reporting tools.
Data Governance and Data Quality
- Support the development and maintenance of data definitions, standards, and quality checks to ensure data integrity.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
- Enhance data collection, documentation, and reporting practices to strengthen data trustworthiness.
