As a publicly traded company listed on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol DKNG, DraftKings is committed to responsible gaming, technological innovation, and delivering exceptional value to its customers and shareholders. Our mission is to elevate the sports and entertainment experience through cutting-edge technology, strategic partnerships, and a passionate team dedicated to excellence.

About The Role

As a Senior Mobile Engineer specializing in iOS at DraftKings, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our mobile products. Your expertise will help develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and engaging iOS applications that reach millions of users globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Engineering to define features, improve performance, and ensure the reliability of our mobile platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence engineering practices, champion best-in-class mobile development standards, and contribute to the innovative culture that drives DraftKings forward.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in building and deploying iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI is required. You should have a strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, and experience with integrating RESTful APIs, managing data persistence, and handling complex UI states. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks like XCUITest, and release management processes is advantageous. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a user-centric approach, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code. Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented programming principles, and mobile ecosystem trends will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications that deliver engaging and reliable experiences to millions of users.
Architect scalable, modular, and maintainable codebases utilizing modern development practices and tools.
Collaborate proactively with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define, design, and deliver new features from conception to deployment.
Promote best practices in iOS development, including clean architecture, dependency injection, and efficient UI rendering techniques.
Monitor app performance, reliability, and crash analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
Stay informed about the latest iOS platform updates, ecosystem changes, and mobile development trends to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence within the iOS engineering team and broader organization.

Benefits

Our benefits include competitive salary packages, health insurance plans, dental and vision coverage, and wellness programs. We also provide flexible work arrangements, generous paid time off, and opportunities for continuous learning and development. As part of our commitment to a positive work environment, employees have access to various employee assistance programs, team-building activities, and corporate events. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, fostering a culture where innovation and dedication are celebrated.

We do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Our hiring practices are designed to promote diversity and ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute and succeed within our organization.
