Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Account Manager - Nuclear in the nuclear industry in Oakville, Ontario.

The Account Manager is responsible for building and growing client relationships within the nuclear refurbishment, life sciences, and custom automation sectors. Leveraging industry expertise and established networks, this role identifies and qualifies opportunities, aligns solutions with client needs, and drives revenue growth. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Account Manager leads the sales process from opportunity development through contract award while ensuring exceptional client engagement. The position offers a clear path into broader business development, market expansion, and strategic growth initiatives.

A Typical Day

Manage and grow key client accounts, serving as the primary contact and ensuring excellent customer service.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities using industry knowledge and established relationships.
Lead the full sales cycle, including client engagement, solution development, negotiations, and contract execution.
Monitor market activity, project opportunities, and procurement trends to drive business growth.
Partner with Applications Engineering to develop winning technical and commercial proposal strategies.
Strengthen client relationships through meetings, site visits, industry events, and networking activities.
Collaborate with marketing and internal teams on campaigns, market intelligence, project handovers, and promotional materials.
Maintain CRM records, forecast sales activity, report on pipeline performance, and support future market expansion initiatives.

Successful Candidates Will Have

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or proposals within a technical industry
2-3 years of experience in the nuclear industry
Strong network of industry contacts and a track record of leveraging relationships to drive business
Familiarity with complex, engineered-to-order solutions and custom automation projects.
Skilled in consultative and value-based selling, ideally with exposure to sales methodology.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel to client sites, industry events, and conferences as required
