Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Construction Estimator in the Construction Industry in a hybrid work environment in Markham, Ontario.
Agilus is recruiting for a full-time permanent Junior Construction Estimator in the Greater Toronto Area. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career estimator who wants to gain experience on exciting new-build commercial projects. Working closely with senior estimating and project teams, you'll support bid preparation, quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and project pricing while helping deliver successful construction projects from pre-construction through award.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Assist with project estimates, budgets, and bid submissions
- Review construction drawings and contract documents
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Support preparation of tender and quotation packages
- Maintain estimating databases and project documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams
- Assist with cost analysis and estimate reconciliation
Requirements:
- Possess 1-3 years of estimating or construction-related experience
- Demonstrate experience performing quantity take-offs
- Support estimating activities on commercial, retail, or new-build projects
- Understand construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively
- Bring strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Procore considered a strong asset
- Background in electrical contracting considered a significant advantage

Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs and support estimates, budgets, bid submissions, and tender packages by reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing, maintain estimating records, and coordinate cost analysis and estimate reconciliation with project managers and construction teams.
Requirements
Candidates should have 1–3 years of estimating or construction-related experience, including quantity take-offs and support for commercial, retail, or new-build projects.
