Marketing Brand Strategy & Communications Role Open Now! - 12 Month Contract

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Marketing Brand Strategy & Communications in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Are you a marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of brand strategy, communications, and execution? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic marketing team responsible for delivering customer-focused campaigns that influence millions of consumer interactions across a leading mobility and retail network. In this role, you'll partner with product owners, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute impactful BTL marketing initiatives that drive business growth, strengthen brand equity, and enhance customer experiences across fuels, EV solutions, convenience retail, and loyalty offerings.

Total Rewards

$50.00 - $55.00 hourly
Exposure to large-scale national marketing campaigns and integrated communications strategies
Influence customer experiences across retail, mobility, energy, and convenience channels
Collaborate with senior leaders, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders
Support innovative initiatives related to the energy transition and EV adoption
Manage meaningful marketing investments and contribute to high-impact business decisions
Work in a visible role where your contributions directly influence commercial outcomes
Expand your expertise in brand strategy, customer communications, data-driven marketing, and campaign optimization
Compensation rate is currently TBD and subject to change based on business requirements and candidate experience. Any rate discussed at this stage should be considered tentative and not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of BTL marketing activations aligned with business objectives and customer insights
Partner with Product and Customer Value Proposition (CVP) owners to develop clear and strategic marketing briefs
Coordinate agency partners to ensure high-quality, timely, and brand-compliant execution
Measure campaign effectiveness and translate results into actionable recommendations
Manage agency contracts, scopes of work, and business review processes
Oversee budget planning, forecasting, invoicing, and variance reporting
Maintain compliance with brand governance, legal requirements, and operational standards
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, procurement, finance, legal, insights, and commercial teams to deliver integrated campaigns

Successful Candidates Will Have

4+ years of progressive experience in Brand Marketing, Marketing Communications, or Integrated Marketing
Proven experience managing end-to-end BTL campaigns from planning through execution and optimization
Strong understanding of advertising development and creative production processes
Experience managing agency relationships, scopes of work, contracts, and performance reviews
Demonstrated financial acumen with budget management and forecasting experience
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple business functions
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities
Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills
