Total Rewards
- $20.00 hourly
- Month-to-month contract through year-end
- Consistent daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

- Review incoming prescriptions for completeness and accuracy
- Enter, prepare, and process prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy procedures
- Process and troubleshoot third-party insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Assist with pharmacy inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies
- Order, receive, and maintain pharmacy inventory levels
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock replenishment activities
- Maintain accurate records while adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures
- Minimum 3 months of Pharmacy Assistant experience
- Understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy workflows
- Knowledge of third-party insurance claim processing
- Experience entering and maintaining data in pharmacy systems
- Experience with HealthWatch pharmacy software is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescriptions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities
Review prescriptions for completeness and accuracy, enter and process them according to pharmacy procedures, and troubleshoot third-party insurance claims. Maintain patient and prescription records, manage inventory and replenishment, and follow pharmacy policies and procedures.
Requirements
Candidates need at least three months of Pharmacy Assistant experience and an understanding of prescription processing, pharmacy workflows, and third-party insurance claims. Experience with pharmacy systems is required, HealthWatch experience is preferred, and candidates should be accurate, organized, able to manage competing priorities, and strong in customer service and communication.
