Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Programmer/Software Developer in the Public Sector in Ottawa, Ontario.
We are seeking a Programmer / Software Developer to support the modernization of secure enterprise systems for a confidential public-sector client. You will design, develop, integrate and maintain custom applications and work with technical teams and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

We are seeking a Programmer / Software Developer to support the modernization of secure enterprise systems for a confidential public-sector client. You will design, develop, integrate and maintain custom applications and work with technical teams and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Work on the modernization of secure enterprise systems.
- Apply your development skills across .NET, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint and SQL.
- Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing and implementation.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on a complex public-sector project.
- Assess existing system architecture and help define future-state technical and application requirements.
- Design, develop and integrate applications using .NET, JavaScript, SQL, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Build APIs and connectors to integrate applications with other systems.
- Develop and maintain relational databases, queries and procedures.
- Perform unit, functional and acceptance testing; troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Produce technical documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, test plans and user guides.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements and technical standards.
- Support knowledge transfer, coaching and training for technical team members.
- At least five years of experience as a Programmer or Software Developer
- At least five years of experience architecting, designing and integrating software applications in an enterprise environment
- At least five years of experience developing, designing, building, testing and implementing web and server-side applications running on Windows servers
- Must hold a valid Top Secret Government Security Clearance

Responsibilities
