You will contribute to broader Ontario Region communications priorities and support approved community investment and municipal engagement activities under the direction of the Manager, Communications. Your work will follow established review, approval and governance processes and align with Agnico Eagle's values, brand and messaging. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Coordinate with Human Resources and refer individual employee support needs to the appropriate team;
Coordinate scheduling, logistics, employee participation, promotion, materials, photography, video and follow-up communications for assigned community-facing events with the relevant event lead. Work with Community Relations on events within its mandate, with that team guiding community relationships, engagement objectives and Indigenous Nation participation;

Obtain and incorporate information provided and validated by Community Relations concerning its engagement activities, relationships, commitments and concerns, while relevant departments remain accountable for their underlying information and commitments;
Maintain a timely flow of information between site leadership, internal departments and the Ontario Communications team. Escalate requests for funding decisions, agreement negotiations, company commitments or spokesperson responses to the Manager, Communications, for direction through established authorities.
