Original job description

About Agoda

At Agoda, we bridge the world through travel. Our story began in 2005, when two lifelong friends and entrepreneurs, driven by their passion for travel, launched Agoda to make it easier for everyone to explore the world.

Today, we are part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], with a diverse team of over 7,000 people from 90 countries, working together in offices around the globe. Every day, we connect people to destinations and experiences, with our great deals across our millions of hotels and holiday properties, flights, and experiences worldwide.

No two days are the same at Agoda. Data and technology are at the heart of our culture, fueling our curiosity and innovation. If you’re ready to begin your best journey and help build travel for the world, join us.

Get To Know Our Team:

The People Team is a purveyor of opportunity, searching the globe for the most talented individuals and offering them an open, collaborative workplace. By prioritizing skill and potential, we have cultivated a powerful assembly of professionals through our drive for equal opportunity and diversity. We make the move to Agoda a breeze with assisted onboarding programs, and we continue to support and enrich our thousands of Agoda employees through individual growth with outstanding learning programs and various means of assistance. Our development of incredible benefits has ensured everyone can stay strong, healthy, and happy during their time at Agoda. Leading ambitious changes and making a positive impact in the lives of our employees, the People Team is a crucial and rewarding part of the Agoda family.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Tech Sourcer Specialist with a proven track record of discovering and hiring amazing engineering talent. In this role, you will own the end-to-end development and execution of Sourcing strategies to find exceptional talent to fill our senior and/or critical engineering roles.

*This role is based in Bangkok and on hybrid work setup, relocation will be provided for successful applicants who aren't yet based in Thailand

**There's no options to be based in other cities or remote arrangement at the moment

What You’ll Do:

Proactively source and engage senior-level engineering candidates for critical/low-supply roles and manage your candidates in the first steps of their hiring process.
Set the standard for world-class outreach, candidate experience and key stakeholders’ collaboration (both within Talent Acquisition and the business teams you support).
Discover and quantify new talent pools and sourcing channels.
Leverage data effectively to prioritize efforts, monitor pipeline health and guide sourcing strategy.
Own market mapping and competitive intelligence to identify where the best technical talent lives and how to reach it.
Present market insights, search progress and candidate recommendations with clarity and confidence, particularly in ambiguous or evolving searches.
Drive rigor in calibration: challenge assumptions, align early and advocate for sourcing approaches that optimize for long-term outcomes.
Focus on quality and alignment at the optimal volume to meet goals.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of technical sourcing/recruiting experience.
A sales mindset: persuasive, persistent and value-led in every touchpoint.
Proven ownership of end-to-end, high impact projects.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights and insights into business decisions.
High autonomy, urgency and follow-through.
Thrive on change: you iterate fast and keep moving.
Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required.
Previous experience hiring for Southeast Asia markets is a plus.
