The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating the work of on-site contractors and contributes to achieving performance objectives related to health and safety, quality, costs, delivery, employee engagement, and the environment, within a collaborative culture.

- Salary Scale 004: $73,000 to $91,200 (Base salary will be determined according to your academic background, experience, training, and position‑related competencies.)
Your role in achieving results:
- Take ownership of, deploy, and optimize the Work Execution Management (WEM) program in collaboration with the maintenance teams and other departments, in alignment with site and Cooperative objectives.
- Define, develop, and implement maintenance planning and scheduling practices based on operational priorities, resource availability, and timelines.
- Coordinate the work management process, from request prioritization through pre-scheduling, scheduling, and work order closeout, ensuring alignment and effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Maintain an active presence on the plant floor to gather the information required for planning, understand operational needs and constraints, and ensure maintenance activities are properly prepared.
- Monitor maintenance performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards and incorporate team feedback during work order closeout to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure planned maintenance activities comply with applicable laws, standards, regulations, and internal requirements, including ISO, HACCP, and SQF standards.
- Act as the functional owner of the CMMS and contribute to its development, data quality, and process improvements in order to:
- Analyze maintenance costs.
- Support the prioritization of asset replacements.
- Optimize maintenance programs.
- Balance preventive maintenance workloads.
- Implement, harmonize, and maintain corporate technical information standards and ensure their application, particularly regarding asset taxonomy in accordance with ISO 14224, asset criticality, maintenance plans, and work instructions.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee work performed by on-site contractors, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards, regulations, health and safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Contribute, in collaboration with the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, to the Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), including trend analysis, root cause analysis, and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Actively participate in the plant’s Health and Safety Committee as the maintenance representative and contribute to the implementation of projects related to the position’s area of responsibility.
- Align internal practices and processes with the standards of the corporate AOS Maintenance and Reliability pillar and support their implementation and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the governance and development of the competency management program (CSI), particularly with respect to employee onboarding and skills development.
- Provide coverage for Maintenance Supervisors during planned absences and, during these periods, oversee the coordination of the team’s activities.
- Perform any other related responsibilities involving planning, coordination, process improvement, or supervision associated with the management of maintenance activities.
What we are looking for to deliver these results:

- 5 to 10 years of significant experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, ideally in a unionized environment.
- Experience in the food industry is considered an asset.
- Good understanding of industrial maintenance environments and technical knowledge of mechanics, automation, electricity, instrumentation, and controls.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and experience using a CMMS; knowledge of Guide TI is considered an asset.
- Excellent ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work in an environment where needs and priorities can change quickly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English. English is required to work with colleagues in other Canadian provinces.
