Sales Analyst is responsible for the implementation, analysis, and monitoring of sales and market data. The role focuses on providing strategic recommendations, meaningful insights, and actionable opportunities that enable the retail sales team to optimize commercial execution, increase sales, and grow market share.

The incumbent also acts as a business partner by identifying process improvement opportunities, recommending solutions, and overseeing their implementation to enhance operational efficiency and overall organizational performance.

In addition, the Retail Sales Analyst serves as the category management specialist for the milk category, ensuring the development, optimization, and maintenance of planograms to maximize in-store product performance.

How you will contribute to collective success:

Business Analysis and Sales Performance

Ensure data integrity and governance to support informed business decisions.
Analyze sales performance, market trends, and category results.
Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies to increase sales, profitability, and market share.
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and analyses to monitor performance and support decision-making.
Participate in continuous process improvement and the evaluation of business initiatives.

Shelf Management and Space Optimization

Act as a shelf management expert to maximize the performance of the dairy category.
Develop and optimize planograms to improve product visibility and in-store execution.
Analyze space productivity, product assortments, and inventory turnover to recommend optimal merchandising strategies.
Support Sales, Marketing, and Category Management teams in space optimization and shelf gain initiatives.
Collaborate with business partners to align commercial strategies with in-store execution and customer needs.

The type of player who fits in well with the team:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a field related to the position.
Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is considered an asset.
Experience in shelf management, merchandising, or planogram development is considered a strong asset.
Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Excellent proficiency with SAP, Oracle, OBIEE, Springboard (AgroPos), Nielsen, and SharePoint.
Proficiency with space management and planogram tools, particularly ProSpace.
