Our client is a global leader in media and marketing, helping some of the world’s leading brands connect with their audiences through data-driven strategies and innovative solutions. With expertise across media planning, buying, analytics, and digital, they deliver impactful results for clients across industries.

\nAbout the Role

We are seeking a Senior Media Analyst to support a leading client in understanding and improving media performance across channels. This role will analyze media data, develop reporting and visualizations, uncover actionable insights, and make recommendations to optimize future marketing campaigns.

The Senior Media Analyst will work closely with client and agency teams, using data and business intelligence tools to evaluate campaign performance, identify opportunities, and improve reporting processes. This is a highly analytical, client-facing role with exposure to a broad range of media channels and data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze media performance across Programmatic, Display, Video, Paid Social, and Paid Search, assessing effectiveness and contribution to business objectives.
Develop measurement frameworks and standardized KPIs to evaluate digital marketing performance.
Translate business and marketing objectives into measurable media strategies and actionable recommendations.
Bring together data from internal data warehouses, vendor and partner platforms, campaign briefs, and other sources to provide a holistic view of performance.
Analyze cross-channel campaign performance across media, social, email, site, and creative.
Identify trends, opportunities, and potential causes of performance changes to inform optimization strategies.
Develop clear, compelling dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools.
Build operational checks and alerts to identify data quality issues, ingestion failures, and anomalies.
Improve reporting processes, data transparency, and workflow efficiency.
Monitor reporting quality and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Lead client conversations related to performance, insights, and opportunities for future optimization.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop insights and continuously improve marketing measurement and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

5+ years of experience in media analytics, performance marketing, marketing analytics, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of digital media KPIs, including CPM, CPC, CPV, CPA, CTR, and related performance metrics.
Demonstrated experience applying statistical analysis to datasets, interpreting results, and communicating insights clearly.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with Power BI, Domo, Looker, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
Strong understanding of marketing and media performance, with the ability to connect data trends to business outcomes and optimization opportunities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience presenting findings and recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Self-directed and accountable, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Assets:

Experience with Media Mix Modeling (MMM) to simulate or optimize campaigns.
Professional certifications in digital media analytics, such as Google Analytics, Adobe, or Meta certifications.
Power BI or other business intelligence certifications.
Experience working across multiple media channels and marketing data sources.
Advanced degree is an asset.

$90,000 - $95,000 a year
