Reporting to the Director, Commercial Analytics & Business Intelligence, the Advanced Commercial Analytics Analyst is responsible for delivering commercial insights, analytical solutions, forecast support, and Generative AI applications that enable data-driven decision making across the Commercial organization.

The incumbent will work closely with Revenue Management, Network Planning, Sales, Revenue Planning, and other business stakeholders to analyze performance, identify opportunities, develop reporting and forecasting solutions, and support strategic initiatives. This role will also contribute to the design, development, testing, and adoption of AI-powered solutions, including Snowflake Cortex Agents and Microsoft Copilot experiences, to improve self-service analytics and business productivity.

Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced analyses of commercial performance, customer behavior, revenue trends, and market dynamics to generate actionable business insights.
Partner with Revenue Management, Network Planning, Sales, Revenue Planning, and other stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into analytical solutions.
Support the development, enhancement, and validation of forecasting, predictive, and decision-support models.
Evaluate and leverage multiple commercial data sources to identify opportunities, assess business performance, and support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify recurring business questions, analytical needs, and opportunities for automation.
Design, develop, test, and enhance AI-powered solutions, including Snowflake Cortex Agents, Microsoft Copilot experiences, and other Generative AI applications.
Support the development of AI agent workflows by helping define business requirements, identify relevant data sources, and validate outputs with end users.
Contribute to the identification, design, and optimization of analytical and business workflows that can be streamlined through analytics and AI solutions.
Communicate findings and recommendations through presentations and storytelling that enable data-driven decision making and support ad hoc analytical requests from Commercial stakeholders.

Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline. Strong business acumen is essential.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in analytics, data science, revenue management, commercial strategy, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw conclusions and validate outputs using critical thinking.
Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present insights and tell a compelling story through data.
Experience with Python, Snowflake, or similar analytical platforms is considered an asset.
Interest in Generative AI technologies and experience with Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake Cortex, AI agents, or similar technologies is considered an asset.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Interest in the aviation industry and learning about Revenue Management, Network Planning, Sales, and other commercial functions.
Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
