Job Summary:
The Outside/SMR Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the Hamilton plant facilities. Key duties include managing steam systems, cryogenic units, industrial gas networks, and DCS/HMI control systems, as well as conducting chemical analyses, monitoring environmental controls, and issuing safe work permits.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain low and high-pressure steam systems, industrial gas networks, cryogenic plants, and pipeline systems.
Operate and maintain environmental control equipment.
Operate equipment to support various production units: cryogenic systems, including turbines, pumps, compressors, cooling towers, water treatment systems, steam/gas systems, and distillation columns.
Operate control systems (DCS and local HMIs) to ensure safe and efficient operation of ASU and SMR facilities.
Perform chemical analysis on process water, steam systems, industrial gases, and cryogenic liquids, and adjust systems to maintain operations.
Provide isolation, lockouts, clearances, and safe work permits on utilities, process systems, and equipment.
Assist in the development of energy isolation procedures, safe work practices, and operating procedures.
