Equipment Operator (Coil Tubing) – Offshore
Location: Mount Pearl, Newfoundland
Schedule: 3x3 Rotation
Duration: 1-Year Contract
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator (Coil Tubing) to support offshore well intervention operations in Newfoundland. This position plays a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable field services while supporting operational excellence and maintaining the highest HSE standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, operating, and maintaining equipment used in offshore operations, ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with established procedures. The role involves supporting rig-up and rig-down activities, participating in pre-job and toolbox meetings, collaborating with field and maintenance crews, and contributing to the successful execution of operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate coil tubing and related equipment in accordance with competency level and operational requirements.
- Support equipment preparation, rig-up, rig-down, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure equipment remains in safe working condition and promptly report any defects or deviations.
- Participate in pre-job planning, toolbox talks, and operational safety meetings.
- Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain required safety and operational training certifications.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary offshore operations team.
Requirements
- Experience working in an offshore oil and gas operational environment.
- Background supporting field operations and maintenance activities.
- Experience with equipment preparation, rig-up, and rig-down operations.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with HSE standards.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment issues.
- Valid offshore and safety certifications relevant to the role.
