Airswift is seeking a Material Handler to work on a 6-months contract with one of our clients in Calgary, AB.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive materials and goods related to projects being fabricated within the Welding Shop.
- Verify material deliveries against purchase orders, fabrication drawings, and material test reports, including quantities and technical compliance.
- Organize, mark, and store materials appropriately prior to use.
- Coordinate and move project materials using equipment such as forklifts and telehandlers, ensuring the correct materials are available to welders as required.
- Perform bolt-up of large and small piping for hydrostatic testing and complete hydrostatic testing in accordance with company standards.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required and report any unsatisfactory conditions related to safety, environment, working conditions, or quality to the Supervisor.
Mandatory Qualifications and Certifications
- Grade 12 diploma, General Education Development (GED), or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC).
- Current certification and demonstrated competency in operating a forklift and telehandler.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s Licence.
