Offshore Logistics Advisor
Position Overview
The Offshore Logistics Advisor will work closely with offshore drilling supervisors, engineers, service companies, onshore logistics teams, and operations geologists to support the safe and efficient execution of deep-water drilling operations.
The role is responsible for coordinating offshore logistics activities, ensuring materials, equipment, personnel, and vessels are managed effectively to meet operational requirements.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of CAPP standards for lifting and hoisting, DNV 2.7.1 standards and drilling tools and equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with: KABAL and DaWinci
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics Coordination
- Manage engagement with service providers to ensure:
- Cargo readiness
- Adherence to sailing schedules
- Accurate vessel loading plans
- Timely voyage updates aligned with offshore operational requirements
- Serve as the primary offshore logistics coordination contact for:
- Internal teams
- External contractors
- Support emergent and unplanned logistics requirements through effective prioritization and flexibility.
