Senior Wireline Operator / Wireline Supervisor
Location: Offshore Newfoundland, Canada (Hibernia Platform)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent Preferred)
Schedule: Rotational Offshore Assignment (Currently anticipated to be 3 weeks offshore, 1 week onshore, and 2 weeks off, subject to operational requirements)
Position Overview
A global technology company is seeking experienced Wireline Operators and Wireline Supervisors to support offshore operations on the Hibernia platform. We are looking for highly skilled professionals with extensive wireline experience, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to step into supervisory responsibilities when required.
This opportunity is ideal for senior wireline personnel who are comfortable leading crews, supporting critical well intervention activities, and working in a dynamic offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee offshore wireline operations.
- Perform and support pressure control and perforating activities.
- Lead field crews and ensure safe, efficient execution of work.
- Provide operational guidance and supervisory support when required.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure offshore certifications and training remain current.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Wireline operations.
- Strong experience with Pressure Control equipment and procedures.
- Experience with Perforating operations.
- Previous offshore oil and gas experience.
- Proven leadership and crew management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Willingness to work rotational offshore schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Wireline Supervisor experience.
- Experience acting as Crew Lead, Senior Operator, or Supervisor.
- Experience working offshore Newfoundland or on the Hibernia platform.
- 20+ years of oil and gas industry experience.
- 10+ years of crew leadership or supervisory experience.
- Current offshore certifications and training ("walk-on ready").
