Are you an experienced Operations leader looking to be part of the commissioning, start-up, and operations of a world-class LNG facility?
We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead frontline operations teams in a dynamic and fast-paced LNG environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major energy project while helping build a strong safety culture and operational excellence from the ground up.
📍 Location: Squamish, BC
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise shift operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.
- Coordinate plant start-ups, shutdowns, and response to operational upsets.
- Provide leadership during emergency situations and direct first-response teams when required.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices, including Permit to Work systems.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Technical, and Operations teams to achieve production and reliability targets.
- Support commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness activities.
- Mentor, coach, and develop operations personnel.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas production facilities.
- Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certification.
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Lead Operator, or Head Operator.
- Experience supporting Commissioning and Start-Up activities.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally to support production objectives.
- Experience leading emergency response teams during plant incidents.
- Strong knowledge of Permit to Work systems and safe work management processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
