About this opportunity:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced AI Development Consultant to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise AI solutions. This role is part of a multidisciplinary Applied Intelligence team comprised of data scientists, analytics specialists, software engineers, and UX professionals focused on delivering innovative AI capabilities across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop scalable AI applications, build intelligent automation solutions, and contribute to the organization's AI transformation initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, machine learning, and full-stack development.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain AI-powered applications and platforms.
- Support business initiatives focused on developing, enhancing, and scaling AI capabilities.
- Build and maintain full-stack solutions, including web front-end applications, back-end APIs, and databases.
- Develop and deploy AI Agents, RAG-based solutions, and machine learning applications.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, relational databases, and vector databases.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, monitoring, and deployment best practices.
- Participate in model development, predictive analytics, and statistical modelling initiatives.
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI technologies and development approaches.
- Maintain and improve AI and data science ecosystems, including data pipelines, models, and business applications.
- Support deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Follow established governance, security, and operational processes.
Must Have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering, AI development, machine learning, analytics, or related fields.
- Strong programming experience with Python and SQL.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience building AI Agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
- Experience working with machine learning models and AI frameworks.
- Full-stack development experience using React or Angular and Python Flask.
- Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise data sources.
- Knowledge of automated testing practices and software quality assurance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conduct independent research and propose technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience building enterprise-scale AI platforms and applications.
- Experience working with vector databases and semantic search solutions.
- Exposure to investment management, capital markets, financial services, or related domains.
- Experience working with MLOps practices and AI model deployment.
- Familiarity with data engineering and data pipeline development.
- Experience working in agile software development environments.
