Title: GNC Systems Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: 12+ months with potential extension
Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc.in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or Physics, (M.Sc. preferred), focused on flight dynamics, control theory, or navigation with 10+ of GNC/AOCS experience on LEO/MEO/GEO platforms.
- Orbital mechanics, attitude dynamics, and control law design (classical and modern optimal control).
- Proficiency with navigation sensors and actuators.
- Experience implementing real time filtering and control algorithms in embedded code
- Strong understanding of aerospace system engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience to support systems integration processes and capability to test systems and resolve problems.
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills in English & French work environment.

Responsibilities
Design and implement guidance, navigation, and control capabilities, including control laws and real-time filtering and control algorithms for embedded systems. Support systems integration and testing, and troubleshoot system problems.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or physics, with a focus on flight dynamics, control theory, or navigation; a master's degree is preferred. Requires 10+ years of GNC/AOCS experience on LEO, MEO, or GEO platforms, relevant technical expertise, systems integration and testing experience, familiarity with Confluence and JIRA, and strong communication skills in an English- and French-speaking work environment.
