About this opportunity:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced IDM / Advanced Authentication Consultant to provide onsite administration, configuration, and technical support for (NetIQ) Identity and Access Management solutions.
This engagement is a time-based delivery contract focused on supporting ongoing Identity Management initiatives within a secure enterprise environment. The consultant will work independently on task-based assignments issued by the client and will be responsible for delivering expert-level support for NetIQ Identity Manager (IDM) and Advanced Authentication (AA) technologies.
The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise in NetIQ products, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and experience operating within highly secure environments requiring government security clearances.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide onsite administration, configuration, and maintenance of (NetIQ) Identity Manager (IDM) environments.
- Support and configure Advanced Authentication (AA) solutions.
- Perform system troubleshooting, issue resolution, and operational support activities.
- Execute client-assigned technical tasks related to Identity and Access Management infrastructure and services.
- Implement configuration changes, upgrades, and enhancements as required.
- Analyze and resolve authentication, identity lifecycle, and access management issues.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful task delivery.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and implemented changes.
- Follow established security, governance, and operational processes.
- Deliver services independently with minimal supervision during onsite engagements.
Must Have
- Advanced to expert-level experience with (NetIQ) Identity Manager (IDM).
- Advanced to expert-level experience with Advanced Authentication (AA).
- Strong experience administering and configuring enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver technical solutions in complex environments.
- Experience troubleshooting identity management, authentication, and access control issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Ottawa, Ontario as required.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IAM environments.
- Experience with identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and authentication integrations.
- Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with security best practices and access governance processes.
- Previous experience delivering professional services or consulting engagements.
