Job Title: Sr. Tech Acquisition Consultant
Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)
Duration: 06+ months with potential extension
We’re looking for an experienced IT professional to support technology sourcing, IT vendor management, and RFx development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather IT requirements across infrastructure, software, security, and IT services.
- Develop RFx/RFSQ documents, technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and scoring matrices.
- Collaborate with IT leadership, architects, security teams, and Supply Chain Management.
- Support sourcing strategy development and procurement process improvements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of IT experience with strong IT procurement and technology sourcing expertise.
- Experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst, IT Sourcing Consultant, or similar.
- Strong requirements gathering, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Public-sector procurement experience and familiarity with Canadian trade agreements are assets.
Note: This is an IT-focused role, not a general procurement or transactional buying position.
