Your Opportunity:
The Endocrinology and Metabolism Program is a medical ambulatory care centre that provides outpatient services through a variety of clinics. The Administrative Support III position is pivotal in receiving and processing referrals, scheduling patients, facilitating communication with patients, staff, physicians, other departments and providing other clerical support to the program such as front reception, checking in patients, and organizing/faxing reports. This fast-paced, demanding administrative support job involves juggling multiple tasks and must efficiently handle incoming requests, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills with clients/team members and proficiency in various software tools such as Microsoft Office are crucial for success in this role.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Two years of administrative experience in inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory care settings within the past three years. Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (skills will be tested during interview). Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute (to be assessed during interview).
Preferred Qualifications:
MOA or Unit Clerk Certification preferred. Experience with 'rooming' patients in a clinic setting (height, weight, etc.). Ability to measure blood pressure both with machine and manually. Customer/Client service experience: Both in-person and over the phone.
