Original job description

Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the managers of Gastroenterology/Hepatology and GI Central Access Triage, the casual Administrative Support III plays a key role in supporting the delivery of efficient, patient-centered care within two busy departments: the GI/HEP outpatient clinic and the GI CAT program. Within GI CAT, the successful candidate is responsible for referral data entry, maintaining referral and letter workqueues, responding to enquiries from and sending updates to referring providers, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure referrals are managed safety and efficiently. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is essential. The clinic currently operates Monday through Friday between 0645 and 1800 (7.75 hour shifts), with hours subject to change based on operational requirements. This position offers opportunities for cross-training and development within the department, including Endoscopy Unit Clerk (ASIV), and GI/Hepatology Procedure Booking Clerk (ASIV).
