Your Opportunity:
The mandate of the Referral, Access, Advice, Placement, Information, Destination (RAAPID) South is to provide health care providers with a single point of access to assist them in accessing expert advice or a higher level of care for their patients. The Administrative Support - Clerk IV at RAAPID must possess expertise that supports the coordination of referral and repatriation activities within Southern Alberta. The Clerk IV at RAAPID is in regular contact with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. In order to succeed in this role, the incumbent must possess excellent "customer service" skills, must have excellent telephone etiquette, must have a firm grasp of multiple forms of information technology, along with a sound working knowledge of medical terminology. This position supplies administrative assistance to the RAAPID South staff and clients of RAAPID South through chart and records management, interdisciplinary communication, report writing, patient registration, and other duties as deemed appropriate by Manager/designate.
