Original job description

Your Opportunity:

Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? If yes, this opportunity may be a perfect fit. Health Information Management, Access and Disclosure is seeking an Access and Disclosure (A&D) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to facilitate the secure, accurate and compliant release of health information in compliance with the Health Information Act (HIA). Reporting to the A&D Supervisor, you will act as a key liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and third parties, collecting and validating documentation to ensure requests are processed accurately and completely. Your work will directly impact the safe and effective exchange of health information across the healthcare system. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines. You work well independently with minimal supervision and also thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment. Your ability to deliver high-quality customer service and communicate clearly and respectfully with a diverse range of stakeholders will contribute to the overall success of the A&D team. In a refocused healthcare system, AHS plays an integral role in delivering high-quality acute care services to more than 4.5 million people living in Alberta, as well as occasionally to some residents of other provinces and territories. We are a nation-leading hospital-based service provider operating 106 facilities across the province and we are dedicated to excellence in patient care. Showcase your leadership skills at AHS, where we strive to foster an environment where patients, clients, and staff feel safe, healthy, valued and supported.
