Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director Physician Agreements and Payments, Health Shared Services (HSS), this position completes a range of administrative duties to support the management of physician contracts, agreements, payments and related invoices. Tasks support the crafting of various physician contracts and agreements (using predetermined templates and distributing through DocuSign), reflecting those agreements and subsequent invoices in a complex payment database; and saving those documents in a physician filing system (OnBase) using standardized nomenclature. Within those tasks, key responsibilities include data entry; communicating in a timely manner with team members, physicians, and our customers in multiple Health Service Delivery Organizations. The successful incumbent will be very comfortable using advanced computer systems and technology and have the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs to provide proactive support. They will also be comfortable gaining and retaining knowledge on policies and procedures for HSS-Medical Affairs as well as the various stakeholders supported. They must be self-directed when attempting to troubleshoot payment and contract issues while still focusing on the details of multiple competing priorities and activities. The individual must be very comfortable communicating clearly, quickly and regularly with stakeholders and team members. HSS-Medical Affairs offers a team-based approach to managing its work and currently operates within a hybrid-working environment, so, candidates must be comfortable working virtually and on-site with colleagues on complicated tasks with tight timelines. Workflows may include some lifting and movement of heavier items (file boxes) to support a contract archiving project.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:
A diploma in health services administration, business, arts or sciences, or other significant, comparable preparation. Demonstrated high levels of skill using MS Excel and comfort with MS ACCESS. Proficiency in other programs like Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat is required. Demonstrated comfort navigating through file management systems such as SharePoint, Shared Drives and MS Teams. Applicants will be required to complete a timed MS Excel skill test that will constitute substantive weighting in interview scoring. Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have knowledge of different physician payment models in Alberta. Candidates should have customer service experience including the ability to communicate clearly, quickly and regularly with stakeholders; strong organization skills to coordinate the processing of documents and payments on a virtual platform. Comfort creating database generated reports to support financial analysis by our customers would be an asset.
