Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect clinical and non-clinical healthcare areas, including floors, windows, ceilings, bathrooms, and patient rooms; replenish supplies and linens and handle hazardous waste. Maintain room inspection standards, report hazards, respect confidentiality, and potentially orient or train Environmental or Laundry staff.
Requirements
Applicants must have completed Grade 10 or equivalent, be able to use computers and smartphones, and be physically able to stand, walk, perform repetitive movements, lift up to 25 pounds, and push or pull up to 50 pounds of force. Preferred qualifications include institutional or hospital cleaning experience, WHMIS knowledge, industrial cleaning equipment experience, English proficiency, and basic computer knowledge.
