As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the organization's shared vision and values.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including frequent walking, bending, lifting, and standing. Proven capacity to maintain respectful, collaborative working relationships and contribute effectively as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year palliative, acute care experience on an inpatient medical unit within the last 2 years. Current, advanced clinical competency in CVAD, PCA, Direct IV, Chest Tube flushing.

Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and collaborate respectfully; recent inpatient medical-unit palliative or acute care experience and advanced competencies in CVAD, PCA, direct IV, and chest tube flushing are preferred.
