As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the organization's shared vision and values.
Transition Company: Assisted Living Alberta Classification: Licensed Practical Nurse Union: AUPE AUX Unit and Program: Hythe Continuing Care Centre Primary Location: Hythe Continuing Care Centre Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.59 Posting End Date: 16-NOV-2026 Employee Class: Regular Part Time Date Available: 26-NOV-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 6 Shifts per cycle: 17 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $33.16 Maximum Salary: $43.42 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
An ability to work hard, have fun and contribute to a dynamic, successful healthcare team. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as an LPN in Continuing Care. Palliative care, wound care and nail care experience.
