As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
2 or more years experience working in Home & Community Care or Continuing Care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Acute Care/ED is considered an asset. Training with Connect Care for Home Care, HPT, Vac dressings, lower leg assessments, palliative care training and experience are strongly preferred.
