Original job description

Your Opportunity:

Unit 22 is an acute inpatient Cardiology/Telemetry Unit where a candidate with experience and skill can manage a population of complex, unpredictable, and unstable patients. The preferred Registered Nurse (RN) for this unit is one who has a strong interest in patients requiring cardiac-related nursing care and who can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide family-focused care. We are actively building our Cardiac Unit for a future filled with growth, innovation, and opportunity. This is an exciting time to join our team as we expand and evolve to meet the increasing needs of our community. Nurses joining Unit 22 will not only gain valuable experience in acute cardiac care but will also have the opportunity to grow into our developing cardiac program - including future opportunities within the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Whether you're looking to deepen your expertise or take on new challenges, this is a place where your career can thrive. The RN provides care throughout the lifespan, in all stages of health and complexities of illness. If you're passionate about cardiac care and ready to be part of something dynamic and forward-looking, we invite you to apply.

You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values. PLEASE NOTE: Provisional Permit holders will be paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour.
