Your Opportunity:
The Supervisor, Fleet Standards and Commissioning reports to the Manager of EHS Fleet Operations under the Assets portfolio of Emergency Health Services-Alberta (EHS). This is a multidisciplinary position that requires a technical background in motor vehicle systems, manufacturing processes, and vehicle upfitting, combined with highly developed interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution. Key responsibilities for this position include Operational Leadership, Vendor Management, Fleet Technical Standards, Financial Performance and Project Management.

Required Qualifications:
Post secondary education specifically related to fleet management, leadership, or business administration. And an Alberta journeyperson Automotive Technician license, or equivalent, and/or EVTCC certification as an Emergency Vehicle Technician-Ambulance.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience, and progressive growth, developing and leading high-performance teams while providing customer service in a large-scale commercial fleet management, or motor vehicle maintenance or manufacturing environment, combined with developed technical competency and knowledge of motor vehicle mechanical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in a related discipline or credentialed in an industry recognized fleet management certification program such as NAFA Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) or APWA Certified Public Fleet Professional (CPFP). Fleet related experience in an emergency services environment would be highly desirable, as would a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to motor vehicle manufacturing and safety standards
