Your Opportunity:
The Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) is the only regional referral centre for Central Zone, providing specialized healthcare services to more than 450,000 people across Central Alberta - stretching from Drumheller to Two Hills, and from the Saskatchewan border to the Rocky Mountains. RDRHC is entering an exciting period of major redevelopment, including 200 additional inpatient beds (for a total of 570), six new operating rooms, and two state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Labs! With the opening of the new, state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Labs, there will be expanded access to cardiovascular care for patients across the Central Zone. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a passionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering faster diagnosis and treatment for a full spectrum of heart and vascular conditions! Working under the general direction of the Unit Manager for Cardiac Cath Lab, the Supply Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the safe, efficient, and consistent operation of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The Supply Coordinator ensures that all high‑cost consumables, specialty equipment, and critical supplies required for cardiac procedures are available, tracked, maintained, and procured in alignment with AHS policies and procurement standards.
Description:
As a Supply Coordinator, you will be required to perform numerous duties related to customer service and supply distribution functions. In this role you will initiate orders, track medical surgical supplies and equipment, track transactions, monitor inventory levels, manage repairs and loaner devices, and ensure that supplies are available for optimum patient care. You will also be responsible for inventory counts, record keeping, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience in health care procurement and shipping/receiving processes.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience managing high‑cost consumables or specialty medical equipment in a clinical or procedural environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, operating room, or other procedural environment.
