Salesforce Technical Architecture Advisor, LWC, Apex & Implementations

Your role, your impact   

As a Salesforce Technical Architecture Advisor, LWC, Apex & Implementations, you’ll lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. You'll leverage your expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and complex integrations, alongside your strong understanding of banking or financial services systems, security, and compliance, to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day   

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture of Salesforce implementations, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions;

• Architect and lead development using LWC, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce platform capabilities;

• Design and oversee complex, high-volume integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including core banking platforms, data warehouses, payment systems, and third-party vendors;

• Define integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, Platform Events, and middleware solutions;

• Evaluate business and technical requirements to determine optimal integration approaches (API-based, middleware, event-driven, or hybrid);

• Lead technical design sessions, produce architecture diagrams, and define integration patterns, data flows, and error-handling strategies;

• Ensure solutions meet banking security, compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, PCI, data privacy);

• Provide technical leadership and direction to development teams, including code reviews, performance tuning, and best-practice enforcement;

• Partner closely with business stakeholders, solution architecture advisors, developers, QA, and DevOps teams;

• Support multi-org, multi-system, and global implementations, including high-availability and disaster-recovery considerations.

Qualifications

Keys to your success   

• 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience, with significant time in architecture or senior technical leadership roles;

• Strong hands-on expertise with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex (Triggers, Async, Batch, Queueable), and SOQL/SOSL;

• Proven experience architecting and delivering heavy integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs, Webhooks and Platform Events;

• Extensive experience with data modeling, data governance, and large-volume data processing;

• Deep understanding of Salesforce security architecture, authentication, authorization, and integration security;

• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models;

• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Extra edge   

• Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA) or progress toward CTA, Integration Architecture Designer, or Platform Developer II;

• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, banking or financial services environments, and core banking, payments, lending, wealth management, or compliance platforms;

• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, deployment automation, and regulated environments with high security and audit requirements;

• Experience modernizing legacy integrations into API-driven architectures and supporting global, multi-currency, multi-language Salesforce environments, including middleware solutions;

• Knowledge of event-driven or microservices-based architectures.

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate daily with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
