Caregiver

All Ways of Caring is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to clients in their homes and community settings.

As a Caregiver, you will help clients maintain their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence by providing personalized support in accordance with their care plan and All Ways of Caring standards.

Employment Status: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support, as outlined in the care plan and within your training.
• Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and companionship as required.
• Follow each client’s care plan and promptly report concerns or changes in the client’s condition.
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and exercises as instructed and trained.
• Safely use mobility aids and equipment as required.
• Promote client safety, comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
• Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
• Accurately document care provided and relevant observations using company tools and processes.
• Work within the limits of your training and competence and seek guidance when care needs exceed your scope.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, organized, and responsive.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality care.
• Comfortable using phone, email, scheduling tools, and Google Workspace.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerability Sector Search completed within the timeframe required by All Ways of Caring policy.
• Current CPR certification and First Aid certification as required by the location or role.
• Ability to work independently while following care plans, policies, and procedures.
