Original job description

Hello. It’s nice to meet you.

If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place, because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started. So, if you’re driven to make an impact and bring your best to our tight-knit, people-first culture, we want to hear from you.

Are you ready for this?

As a frontline team member, you shape our customers' experience with All Weather. The last mile, the final yard – every day, you have the power to create positive and lasting memories in the hearts and minds of customers and homeowners by letting them know that they’re in your good hands.

We’re currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for a 1 year maternity leave contract in our Edmonton Installation Services department. In this role, you’ll support frontline customer service, order processing, and service scheduling. This is a data-driven, process-focused role that serves as a key point of contact for customers, sales, and Service Technicians. Each day, you’ll be responsible for:

Provide professional, courteous customer service by phone and in person
Create and process Service Work Orders and sales quotes
Enter, review, and proofread orders for accuracy and completeness
Confirm customer service requirements and communicate updates clearly
Schedule and book Service Technicians to maximize efficiency
Enter and manage appointments using an online scheduling system
Confirm schedules with customers and technicians
Ensure required products and special materials are ordered and available on time
Contact customers to arrange and collect final payments
Provide administrative support to the sales team and assist colleagues as needed

This is a role where clear communication and a proactive approach makes all the difference in delivering an exceptional brand experience.

Are you built for this?

We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. Here’s who and what we’re looking for.

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of solid experience in customer service, bringing a strong foundation in helping customers
Proficient with computer systems and comfortable learning new tools
Builds effective relationships and maintains a warm, professional phone presence
Thrives in a high-paced environment, easily managing multiple tasks
Skilled in research and analysis to get to the root of issues
Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous learning to meet the role’s demands
Consistently demonstrates advanced customer service skills, keeping customer satisfaction as the top priority
Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
Communicates professionally and courteously, adapting to different customer needs

Experience in sales or building construction would be a valuable asset

Let’s get after it.

Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. If you’re interested in this role, we encourage you to apply regardless of the criteria we’ve asked for. Please visit our careers page to get started now https://allweatherathome.ca/careers/

What’s in it for you?

Our story

It all began in 1978 in Edmonton, Alberta when a farmer, a salesman and a railroader created All Weather Windows. More than 45-years later, we’ve grown into a group of companies still proudly serving residential and commercial customers across Western Canada. We make premium products right here on home soil, designed and tested for Canada's harshest weather conditions, delivered with the promise of performance and style. Our purpose to Never Stop Building is a testament to the character of our people, because we’re always striving and always looking for fellow “builders”, just like you. To learn more about our who we are and what we do, please visit us online at https://allweatherathome.ca/

Diverse by design.

From day one, diversity has been our greatest source of strength. Today, we’re a company where 55 languages are proudly spoken, with the skill of an international community reflected in all of our products and services. We have people who’ve been with us for generations and we’re an open door to new comers, first timers and everyone in-between. We’re continuously working to build and promote an inclusive environment that attracts, celebrates and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion by every definition. Where everyone can bring their best and full selves to work, because what makes you different, makes all the difference to us.

The ability to make an impact.

The All Weather Group is a place where potential finds opportunity, leadership truly listens and the ability to make an impact has nothing to do with your title. We know none of us are better, smarter or stronger than all of us. So, we invite people at all levels of the organization to speak up, chip in and put ideas into action to help shape our work, careers and company.

A culture of connection and care.

People are the beating heart of our tight-knit community, so their growth is an important way we live up to our purpose, to never stop building. We view wellness as being about the whole person and have designed our programs to support physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing at work and in our lives outside of All Weather.

We make a difference.

We’re honoured to have been recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies 14 years in a row. But, we also know that we’re far from perfect. We’re committed to positively impacting careers, lives and communities across Canada and proudly give back in four key areas; strengthening families, providing shelter, supporting education and, health and wellness. Over the years this has included charitable giving, partnerships, employee volunteerism and supporting families in need, but one thing never changes – we show up for the moments that matter. If you’re passionate about creating a positive impact too, we need your voice to help grow this proud cultural tradition, because our work here is never done.
